G-POWER "Sporty Drive" Supercharger System
For the model year 2011, G-POWER realise a further revolution in supercharging. The market leader G-POWER, fulfils the dream of every sporty BMW driver. Powerful acceleration from mid-range on, which is getting stronger and stronger until the rev limit puts an ends to this awesome experience. This is what the “Sporty Drive” named concept of G-POWER’s improved 2011 supercharger systems is all about. Pure acceleration fun. The “Sporty Drive” supercharger systems offer visible engine tuning in the engine compartment and granted output enhancement, depending on the chosen stage even for a D-I-Y installation. G-POWER offers original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality, like the ASA supercharger, at an excellent value for money.
For the model year 2011 the well-proven G-POWER supercharger systems have received a solid make over. The set target has been to perfectly adapt the supercharger system’s components to the new generation of ASA superchargers. Optimised impeller and housing geometry, originally designed for the superchargers of G-POWER’s world record car the M5 HURRICANE RR, enables the new ASA supercharger generation to build up boost even earlier than before and enables a worldwide unique efficiency. Accordingly G-POWER, in cooperation with ASA, could implement an output enhancement at the same boost level with low impact to the engine.
In order to transform the plus in boost in mid range into more mid-range torque, all G-POWER „Sporty Drive“ supercharger systems have been newly adapted to the ASA supercharger’s new characteristic with the help of a Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyse (CFD-Analyse). And the result speaks for itself. The G-POWER “Sporty Drive” supercharger systems achieve, with constant key data, a maximum output and torque, just like a significant improved mid-range torque.
G-POWER supercharger systems have a lower impact to the engine than common forced induction systems, because less power is needed to drive an ASA supercharger compared to other chargers. Thus G-POWER increases the safety and durability of the BMW engine even further.
